Sheba is an 11 year old senior who spent her entire life on a chain in the yard. We gave her what was probably her first bath ever and clipped off the toenails that were curling into her feet. She was so sweet and appreciative. She is enjoying her soft, clean dog bed and has a big smile for everyone that comes to visit with her and give her some loving. Sheba is such a friendly girl, submissive and gentle. She must have infinite patience, to have tolerated such a life and still have such a great attitude. She is missing a good chunk of one ear and her teeth are worn down but she is still such a pretty girl and you just cannot beat that bright smile! Sheba loves to run around and play with a ball. She is also great with the other dogs here. This girl seems so much younger than her years! We are looking for a special person who is willing to give this senior a retirement as great as her life should have been. We will make sure that the rest of her life is spent in complete comfort and that she is well loved but our goal is to find a kind person to take this gentle girl into their home and give her the experience of being cherished by a family.
